October 10-13th, at Manresa (same as last year) My pals reserved some campsites, I think the ones closest to the path down to the beach. If you come this year, Craig, you gotta surf with me!! There will be plenty of other 8-12 year old boys for your son to surf and hang with. I will be in site 30, Bay Camps, close to the Beach Trail.  I reserved Oct 10-13.  I'll probably leave on the 12th, but got the night of the 12th so that I can hang out at the beach longer.

I'm intimidated by your surfing and paddling ability.  However, I may overcome this if conditions look smallish for Oct, or at least on the manageable side.  I can't remember why I didn't go in last year.  It might have been too big.  I may escape to Capitola for a few sessions if Manresa looks sketchy for me and my son.  I went out at Manresa two weeks ago and had fun.  However, it was small.

I did go out in East SC this morning and had fun.   Again, conditions were small and the waves were moving slowly.

I'll probably bring all soft boards.

Great!

Any other stokemasters coming??!

Craig, I am really not a very good surfer - don't stress. (although I have started weight training and I think the upper body stuff really helps with paddling endurance)

Either way. I am going down with dogs kids etc, and a few other families on Friday staying through Sunday.

Come by and surf or reserve a campsite and stay the whole weekend or just a night!

Is it "Lindamar" or "Linda Mar?"
07/22/2008 7:03 PM

Is it spelled "Lindamar" or "Linda Mar?" I have just realized that there has been quite a bit of confusion as far as the Internet users looking for the term. Officially it is a two-word name, but something like 60% of the search population (i.e., more people) use the keyword "Lindamar" based on my recent research. If you are a surf shop owner or have other web sites related to the location, it may well be better for you to lean toward the single word version for your web site optimization strategy!
