I went to an exhibition of vintage wooden surfboards last week.  It was interesting to see wood boards, many of them unglassed.

Here are some pictures that I took with my mobile phone.

It was interesting to see the transition of the rail design.  There were some 16' boards.  I have more pictures that my sister took that show a lot more boards.

Conditions were a little mushy and windy when I was in Hawaii on the south shore.

Is it "Lindamar" or "Linda Mar?"
07/22/2008 7:03 PM

Is it spelled "Lindamar" or "Linda Mar?" I have just realized that there has been quite a bit of confusion as far as the Internet users looking for the term. Officially it is a two-word name, but something like 60% of the search population (i.e., more people) use the keyword "Lindamar" based on my recent research. If you are a surf shop owner or have other web sites related to the location, it may well be better for you to lean toward the single word version for your web site optimization strategy!
