Introduction on Learning How To Surf

BoardOnARack.jpgWelcome to My Learning To Surf StokeGUIDE

You will find my learning to surf guide is a bit different from all the others you have seen on the Internet, books or other media. This is because I started to write this as a series of web site updates since the day I started learning to surf and kept adding on more information as I found out and fixed some when I learned more. I am still learning and updathing this page through this life-long sport, the lifestyle, and a spiritual experience in of itself.

On many other web sites, you may find that many articles are really written from the stand-points of people who already know how to surf, or those by whom long forgotten how it was like the first day out on surfing, and are no longer be able to explain how to a someone completely new.

Not here. This really is a beginner guide written from a surfer who was a beginner not too long ago. So please enjoy.

Also the English language is not my first language so you do and will find some grammatical errors. If you find them, please just guess what I meant to say, and you can always write to myself more questions or ask the members of the StokeMaster on the StokeFORUM Technique Forum or suggestions. Continus improvements is bread and butter sprit of myself, and those who bought into the spirit through this site. I have became friends with many people who came through this site and am still surfing with them. You will be definitely helping others who will be visiting here in months and years to come by actively providing help!

Now Read Chapter 1 - What is Surfing

Enjoy!
